Neighborhoods we serve
Downtown Pompano Beach and the Atlantic Boulevard corridor, beachfront condos along A1A, Palm Aire, Cresthaven, and the canal-front streets of Lighthouse Point near the Hillsboro Inlet. We also see drivers from Copans Road and Sample Road heading south to work in Fort Lauderdale.
What the coast does to your car
Living a few blocks from the ocean, or keeping a boat at a Lighthouse Point dock, changes how a car ages.
- Salt air on brakes. Calipers seize, slide pins stick and rotors rust on the inner face. You notice a pull, a grinding noise or uneven pad wear. Range Rover, Porsche Cayenne and Mercedes GLE brakes are especially sensitive.
- Battery terminals and grounds. White corrosion on terminals and chassis grounds causes hard starts and random warning lights on BMW and Audi models.
- Exhaust and underbody. Hangers, heat shields and clamps rust through and rattle. Subframe and suspension bolts can seize, which matters when it’s time for an alignment.
- Boat ramps. SUVs and trucks that back trailers into salt water get the worst of it: rear brakes, wheel bearings and trailer wiring. Rinse after every launch.
- Sun on the dash and paint. Cars parked outside at beach condos take heavy UV. Our in-house paint, glass and detailing team can restore faded trim and protect paint with ceramic coating.
Coastal inspection on every visit
When your car comes in from Pompano or Lighthouse Point, we add a quick coastal check to the inspection. We photograph the brakes, battery, exhaust, underbody and cooling fans, and mark anything rusting before it fails. You get the photos with your written estimate, so you can decide what to fix now and what to watch.
Makes we work on
BMW and MINI, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW, Porsche, Land Rover and Range Rover, Volvo and Jaguar. Exotics too, including Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren. Tesla, Rivian and Lucid EVs, and domestic SUVs and trucks.
Common jobs for coastal drivers
- Brake repair for seized calipers and rusted rotors
- Exhaust repair for rusted hangers and heat shields
- Range Rover repair, including air suspension compressors exposed to road spray
- Battery replacement and corrosion cleanup
- Tires and alignment after A1A potholes and curb strikes
- Detailing and ceramic coating for salt and sun protection
Before and after hurricane season
Storm surge and king tides push salt water into low streets near the Intracoastal. If your car sat in water, even briefly, don’t assume it’s fine because it starts. Salt water corrodes connectors and brake parts over the following weeks. We inspect flood-exposed cars and help with the insurance claim.
