How a claim works at Prestige
- Open your claim with your insurer or warranty company and get the claim or contract number.
- Bring the car in to either shop, or call the shop to schedule pickup.
- We inspect and document. Every finding is photographed, and fault codes are read with factory-level tools such as BMW ISTA and Mercedes XENTRY.
- We send the estimate with photos to your adjuster or warranty administrator.
- Approval and repair. Once approved, we repair with OEM or OE-equivalent parts and keep you updated by text or phone.
- You pay only your share, such as your deductible or anything the policy does not cover. We explain that share before work starts.
How we fight short estimates and denials
Many claims go wrong in the same few ways. The insurer’s estimate leaves out parts hidden behind a bumper. A warranty administrator says a failure was caused by wear or lack of maintenance. Calibration, blending or OEM parts get left off. We answer each one with evidence:
- Teardown photos that show damage no one could see from outside
- Fault code and freeze-frame reports showing when and how a part failed
- Manufacturer repair procedures that require calibration, one-time-use bolts or specific parts
- Your service history, which we help you gather to show the car was maintained
- Supplements filed and tracked until they are answered
We stay on the phone with the adjuster or administrator so you don’t have to chase the claim yourself.
Why drivers bring claims to an independent specialist
Your insurer may suggest a shop. You are not required to use it. Choosing a European, exotic and EV specialist means the person writing your estimate knows which sensors live in your bumper, which modules need coding after replacement, and which parts the manufacturer will accept. That leads to a more complete estimate on the first pass and fewer surprises later. Body, paint, glass and mechanical work all happen in house, so the car isn’t sent from shop to shop.
For adjusters, warranty administrators and partners
Adjusters are welcome to inspect at either shop. We send photo sets, estimates and diagnostic reports in the format you need. Insurers, warranty companies and dealers can learn more on our business partners page.
Tips that make any claim go smoother
- Take photos at the scene or as soon as you notice the damage.
- Write down the claim number, adjuster’s name and direct phone number.
- Keep receipts for recent maintenance, especially oil changes.
- Don’t authorize a teardown or repair elsewhere before the claim is opened.
