Signs your car is due, or overdue
- A service reminder in the cluster, such as Mercedes “Service A due”, a BMW CBS symbol or an Audi “Inspection due” message
- A wrench or oil-can light that came back after a quick-lube visit, because the reminder was never reset correctly
- Brake fluid older than two years, which the car may or may not remind you about
- A musty smell from the vents, often an old cabin filter
- Rough shifting or a harsh first gear, which can point to overdue transmission fluid
- No service records on a car you just bought
What each maintenance visit covers
Every manufacturer splits maintenance differently. We follow the schedule for your exact model and mileage, then add the checks South Florida driving calls for.
| Item | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Engine oil and filter | Manufacturer-approved synthetic, matched to your oil spec |
| Engine air and cabin filters | Dust, pollen and humidity clog them faster here |
| Brake fluid | Absorbs moisture over time; we flush it with an ABS bleed |
| Spark plugs and ignition | Prevents misfires on turbocharged engines |
| Coolant condition | Checked for strength and leaks at plastic fittings |
| Transmission, differential and transfer case fluid | Serviced at the interval for xDrive, 4MATIC, quattro and PDK |
| Belts, hoses, wipers, lighting and battery | Inspected and photographed every visit |
Brand schedules we follow
- Mercedes-Benz and Sprinter: A Service and B Service with ASSYST reset in XENTRY.
- BMW and MINI: Condition Based Service items, from oil and microfilter to brake fluid and spark plugs, reset with ISTA.
- Audi and VW: Minor and standard services at 10,000-mile steps, DSG fluid at its own interval.
- Porsche: Oil service and inspection intervals, plus PDK fluid and spark plugs at their mileage.
- Land Rover and Range Rover: Service intervals with Pathfinder-level resets and air suspension checks.
- Exotics: Annual service on Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Bentley, often based on time because these cars cover few miles.
Why South Florida counts as severe service
Most owner’s manuals define “severe” driving as heat, dust, stop-and-go traffic and short trips. That describes a normal week in Broward. Afternoon traffic on I-95 and Federal Hwy keeps engines idling hot. Salt air near A1A attacks brake parts and electrical connectors. Many owners also drive less than they think, so fluids age by time before they reach the mileage limit. We look at both time and mileage and tell you plainly when an item can wait.
The digital inspection on every visit
Each maintenance visit includes a digital inspection with photos. You see brake pad thickness, tire tread, belt cracks, leaks and fluid condition on your phone. We mark each item as good, watch soon or needs attention. Nothing gets added to the bill unless you approve it.
What to expect on your visit
- Check in at either shop, or use our after-hours drop-off at Oakland Park: the lot is open 24 hours with a key drop box at the front door, and we call you in the morning.
- We pull up your car’s schedule and check what is due by time and mileage.
- Inspection and photos sent to your phone with a written estimate.
- Service with OEM or OE-equivalent parts, then the reminder reset and an itemized record for your warranty file.
