Mercedes-Benz & AMG Repair in Fort Lauderdale & Oakland Park

Prestige Auto Repairs & Tires repairs and services Mercedes-Benz, AMG and EQ models at two Broward shops, in Oakland Park and Fort Lauderdale. We diagnose with Mercedes XENTRY, photograph every finding and send a written estimate before any work. Repairs carry a 2-year / 24,000-mile warranty. Open 7 days, 8 AM – 7 PM.

Common Mercedes-Benz repairs we handle

  • AIRMATIC air suspension: leaking struts, compressors, valve blocks and level sensors on E-Class, S-Class, GLE and GLS. Older S-Class and SL models with Active Body Control (ABC) get pump, accumulator and hydraulic line diagnosis.
  • Transmission service and faults: 7G-Tronic (722.9) conductor plates, speed sensors and fluid service, plus 9G-Tronic fluid service and adaptation resets.
  • Oil and coolant leaks: oil filter housings, valve cover gaskets, oil cooler lines, thermostats and water pumps on M274 and M264 four-cylinders, M276 V6, M278 V8 and the M256 inline-six.
  • AMG engines: M177 twin-turbo V8 diagnostics, misfires, turbo oil feed leaks and engine mount wear.
  • Electrical faults: SAM modules, battery drain, 48-volt EQ Boost and mild-hybrid warnings, key programming and module coding.
  • Brakes and steering: pads, rotors, sensors, brake fluid flushes and wheel alignment after suspension work.
  • A/C and climate control: compressors, condensers and blend door actuators.

Models we service most

C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, CLA, CLS, A-Class, GLA, GLB, GLC, GLE, GLS, G-Class, SL and AMG GT, along with the AMG 43, 53 and 63 versions. Electric EQB, EQE and EQS models, older ML, GL and R-Class SUVs, and Sprinter and Metris vans are welcome too. Van owners can read our Sprinter van repair page.

Why Mercedes-Benz owners in Broward choose Prestige

  • Mercedes XENTRY diagnostics. We read every module, run guided tests and handle coding, SCN updates and adaptations that generic scanners cannot.
  • ASE-certified, factory-trained technicians who see AIRMATIC, 9G-Tronic and M177 work every week.
  • Photo inspections and written estimates before any work starts. Urgent items are listed apart from items that can wait.
  • 2-year / 24,000-mile warranty on repairs. RepairPal Certified.
  • Claims help. If your car has an extended warranty or the damage is an insurance claim, we help you file it and follow it through.
  • In-house body, paint and glass, so a collision repair and a mechanical repair can happen under one roof.

What South Florida does to a Mercedes

Broward heat and humidity work against several Mercedes systems at once.

Air suspension and rubber parts

AIRMATIC struts use rubber air bags. Year-round heat, UV exposure and salt air near A1A dry them out and crack them sooner than in cooler states. A compressor that runs long to make up for a small leak will overheat and fail next, so catching the leak early saves the compressor.

Cooling and A/C load

Long idles on I-95 and Sunrise Blvd keep under-hood temperatures high. Plastic thermostat housings and coolant pipes get brittle, and the A/C runs almost every day of the year. We pressure-test the cooling system and check A/C pressures on every inspection.

Batteries and electronics

Heat shortens battery life, and a weak battery on a modern Mercedes causes strange warnings across many modules. We test the battery first before chasing electrical faults, and register any new battery to the car.

What to expect on your visit

  1. Drop in at either shop or book ahead. At Oakland Park, the lot is open 24 hours with a key drop box at the front door for after-hours drop-off, and we call you in the morning.
  2. XENTRY scan and digital inspection. Your technician records fault codes, checks the service history and photographs each finding.
  3. Written estimate on your phone, with photos. Nothing is done until you approve it.
  4. Repair and road test, then a clear explanation of what we did and what to watch for. If getting to the shop is hard, call the shop to schedule pickup through our concierge service.
Questions drivers ask

Frequently asked questions

Do you do Mercedes-Benz A Service and B Service?
Yes. We follow the ASSYST service schedule your car displays, use Mercedes-approved oil and filters, and reset the service indicator with XENTRY when the work is done. See our scheduled maintenance page for what each service covers.
Why is my Mercedes sagging overnight?
A car that sits low after parking usually has a leaking AIRMATIC air strut, a weak compressor or a leaking valve block. We test the system with XENTRY and check each corner, so you replace only the part that has failed.
Do you service AMG and EQ models?
Yes. We work on AMG C 63, E 63, GLE 63, G 63 and AMG GT models, and on EQ electric cars such as the EQS, EQE and EQB, using high-voltage safety procedures.
Will servicing my Mercedes at an independent shop affect the factory warranty?
Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, maintenance at an independent shop does not void the factory warranty when it follows Mercedes-Benz specifications. We keep dated records and photos of every service.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk-ins are welcome at both shops 7 days a week, 8 AM – 7 PM. You can also request an estimate online first.
