Common exotic problems we see in Broward
South Florida is a great place to own an exotic and a hard place to keep one healthy:
- Batteries die from sitting. Many exotics are weekend cars. Their electronics draw power while parked, and heat shortens battery life. A weak battery can set off a string of unrelated warning lights.
- Clutches wear fast in traffic. Creeping along Las Olas or Sunrise Blvd in an automated manual gearbox builds clutch heat. We read the wear value so you know where it stands.
- Heat soak and cooling. Mid-engine cars pack the radiators, hoses and plastic coolant parts into tight spaces that run hot. We pressure test and inspect hoses on every visit.
- A/C strain. Exotic A/C systems are small for the cabin glass they cool. Leaking condensers and tired compressors are common here.
- Salt air. Cars stored near the beach and Intracoastal show corrosion on brake hardware, exhaust clamps and underbody fasteners sooner.
How we look after high-value cars
- Careful handling. Low-nose cars are lifted on the correct points, and interiors and fenders are covered before work starts.
- Photo inspection. You see what we see on your phone and approve every line of the estimate.
- Honest parts choices. We recommend OEM parts for exotics and tell you when a quality OE-equivalent is a sound option.
- One team. Mechanical, electrical, tires, body, paint and glass are handled under the same roof.
What to expect at your exotic’s annual service
- Scan and history check. We read stored faults and note anything recorded since the last visit.
- Inspection with photos. Fluids, belts, hoses, brakes, tires, suspension joints and underbody are checked and photographed.
- Written estimate. The factory service items are listed first, followed by anything we found, ranked by urgency.
- Service and road test. After you approve, we complete the work, reset service indicators and road test the car.
