Why BMW and MINI owners in Broward choose Prestige
- BMW ISTA diagnostics for fault codes, coding, programming and software updates.
- Digital inspection with photos. You see what we see and approve every estimate first.
- Built for South Florida. Heat, humidity and I-95 stop-and-go traffic wear out cooling systems, A/C, batteries and seals faster here. We check them on every visit.
- ASE-certified, factory-trained technicians and OEM or OE-equivalent parts.
- Two shops, open 7 days, 8 AM – 7 PM. English and Spanish.
Models we service most
3 Series, 4 Series, 5 Series, 7 Series, 8 Series, X1, X3, X5, X6, X7, Z4, M2, M3, M4, M5, X3 M, X5 M, i4, i7 and iX, plus MINI Cooper, Clubman and Countryman.
Real example: an M5 drivetrain warning
A customer’s BMW M5 showed a drivetrain malfunction warning and shuddered under hard acceleration. Our technician scanned the xDrive system and traced it to a slipping transfer case actuator and worn fluid. Instead of replacing the whole unit, we serviced and calibrated the actuator, and the car pulled smoothly again. That’s the kind of diagnosis that saves BMW owners money.
BMW maintenance in South Florida heat
BMW’s Condition Based Service (CBS) intervals assume average driving. Broward driving is not average: high ambient heat, short trips, humidity and long idles in traffic all shorten the life of oil, coolant, A/C components and batteries. On every visit we check:
- Coolant and plastic cooling parts. Expansion tanks, water pumps and thermostats on N20, N55 and B58 engines are common wear items in this climate.
- Oil and oil leaks. We use BMW Longlife-approved oil and look for valve cover and oil filter housing leaks before they reach belts and wiring.
- Battery health and registration. Modern BMWs must have a new battery registered to the car so the charging system works correctly. We do that as part of every battery job.
- A/C performance. Weak cooling is often an early sign of a leaking condenser or a failing expansion valve.
