Prestige Auto Repairs & Tires repairs European, exotic and EV vehicles at two shops in Oakland Park and Fort Lauderdale. We are hiring 4 ASE-certified automotive mechanics / technicians for the Oakland Park team.
What you will do
- Diagnose and repair BMW and MINI, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and VW, Porsche, Land Rover and Jaguar, Volvo, Tesla and other EVs, and exotics like Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren, plus general repair on all makes.
- Remove, replace and swap engines and transmissions.
- Repair suspension, steering, brakes and drivetrain, including air suspension.
- Run electrical diagnostics, module programming and coding with factory scan tools such as BMW ISTA and Mercedes XENTRY.
- Repair cooling systems, A/C and flood or water-damaged vehicles, which keep South Florida bays busy all year.
- Document findings with photos for customers, insurance adjusters and warranty claims.
What we are looking for
- 5 to 10 years of hands-on automotive repair experience, on European, exotic, EV or strong general repair work.
- ASE certification preferred. ASE Master is a plus.
- Comfortable with engine and transmission swaps, suspension and electrical work.
- Your own hand tools.
- Reliable, honest and proud of clean, quality work.
- English required. Spanish is a plus.
Pay and schedule
- Pay: seventy-two to eighty-five thousand dollars per year, depending on experience and specialty.
- Schedule: full time, Monday to Saturday, 9 AM – 7 PM.
- Shop: a modern, well-equipped shop working on premium and exotic vehicles.
